We offer a variety of options for both our VPS and dedicated server products to enhance your internet presence. None of these options are included with any VPS or dedicated server unless stated otherwise. For combo discounts please don’t hesitate to get in touch!

Managed server

This option will make sure we apply all patches and updates for the operating system and development environment to keep your server up to date. This is much more than just installing the updates and then leaving the system be, we will coordinate maintenance works with you and ensure that changes won’t interfere with the operability of your applications. Furthermore, we will perform regular system checks and advise you regarding potential performance issues. Depending on the complexity of the system, this option typically is around GBP 30 to 150 per month net, and often includes some additional system administration support time as well.

24/7 system administrator availability

This option goes beyond the 24/7 NOC support we offer. With this option you can be sure that no matter what you will get a qualified response and assessment in case of urgent issues / emergency within 30/60/120 minutes of time. Support staff will be familiar with your particular issue, providing an often crucial shortcut to the core of the problem, especially when you don’t have to handle yourself through several levels of support. This option is like having your very own system administrator at hand. Monthly prices typically range from GBP 25 to GBP 100 net.

Disaster insurance

Imagine disaster striking, your VPS or dedicated server - heaven forbid - crashing beyond repair - some system update failing, or an accidental data wipe, etc. How long would it take even the most dedicated provider to get it back up? Even under the assumption of being fully familiar with all applications and server configurations, it will take several hours to get your system at least back close to where it was before, further assuming proper backups of the relevant data are available (typically included with our contracts). If you cannot wait that long or want more independence, then this option is for you. With disaster insurance, we will be running a copy of your VPS or dedicated server on one of our own machines and run syncs in intervals agreed upon with you. This ensures that your server, in worst case, can be up again within minutes (depending on the confirmed reaction time) with its last sync’ed dataset already in place and fully functioning, while the faulty system can be handled without having to worry about the site being offline then. Again, depending on the nature of the setup, monthly prices usually run from GBP 25 to GBP 100 net.
